Teemii Quick Start Guide¶

Welcome to the Teemii Quick Start Guide. This guide will help you quickly set up Teemii and get started with managing your manga collection. Teemii is a manga reading and management application designed to provide you with an enhanced manga reading experience.

Installation Options¶

Before we begin, you can choose from different installation methods for Teemii:

Docker Compose Installation: Use Docker Compose for easy deployment and management.
Docker Installation: Use Docker Cli for deploying Teemii.
Portainer: How deploy Teemii using a container management tool: Portainer.

Setup Wizard¶

If you want data persistence, it is recommended using a Docker volume defined in your Docker Compose or Docker CLI configuration to ensure your manga data is preserved.

The Teemii setup wizard streamlines the initial configuration into three straightforward steps:

Step 1: Database Path¶

Verify the Database Path: By default, Teemii sets a predetermined directory for storing manga-related information and metadata. You have the option to override this path locally through environment variables or by modifying Docker mount points. It's essential to verify this path to ensure it aligns with your storage strategy.

Step 2: Storage Path¶

Verify the Storage Path: Similarly, Teemii sets a default directory for storing manga images, covers, and other associated files. This path too can be customized locally via environment variables or by adjusting the Docker mount points. Ensure you confirm this path and that it provides sufficient storage space for your manga collection.

Step 3: Preferred Languages¶

Select Preferred Languages: Customize your manga reading experience by choosing your preferred languages for manga chapters. Teemii will prioritize showing manga chapters in the languages you select.
